What is an Experiential Learning Opportunity (ELO)?
Experiential Learning Opportunities (ELOs) courses support the problem-solving skills of undergraduate students. When you enroll in a certified ELO or participate in a certified co-curricular ELO, you will have unique opportunities to:
- deepen your understanding of academic content through involvement in authentic contexts
- connect with faculty and staff who facilitate your active involvement in authentic problem solving–the solutions you develop will have real-world impacts and consequences
- gain an awareness of the complexities of real-world problems solving and the strategies needed to successfully engage in solving those problems, especially as they relate to your future careers
Learn more about experiential learning opportunities on the UA Learning in Action website.
